The night is young and dammit so are we Let's run for the money Dressed to kill, our sin fits perfectly Do it for me, honey For the danger, not the fame Cos you know I do the same She never ever mentions anything about the afterlife Not afraid to hide her wild side She'll never die from what she's takin' I shoulda known better she was livin' forever and well on her way Cos she already signed the dotted line The devil knew she wasn't fakin' And all she ever learned was how to lose the ones she loved… (… she knows all about the process of losing faith) She saved a taste of poison just for you Yes you'll have another And share the sacred venom just for two This one's just for lovers Of the danger, not the fame And will always be the same Play the game Put your winnings on the line You'll never lose But everything you have belongs to her My back's at the wall There's no escape My hands are tied, and no one hears my call Until it's much too late

sometimes we fall other times we melt but nothing at all can stop this hell we are round pegs we are square holes we are doomed to lose as normalcy unfolds we are a hot, hot mess in a world of cold once, we were golden but now, anxious and stolen stolen by our past and by those criminals of love it's a one way street yes, yet I charge in left lanes we are smart hurricanes sometimes we fall other times we melt but nothing at all can stop this hell we are round pegs we are square holes we are doomed to lose as normalcy unfolds we are a hot, hot mess in a world I've got to mold we are stolen by our past and by those criminals of love it's a one way street yes, yet I charge in left lanes we are smart but nothing at all can stop the ringing of the bells and chimes signals we are past our prime we are stolen by our past and by those criminals of love it's a one way street yes, yet I charge in left lanes we are smart hurricanes we know not what the weather brings

morphine like a vitamin pill catatonic sentence structure: acquired skill life is but a dream when death is closer than the will don't touch me unless you can cure me still kill me once kill me twice I feel like I've been killed nine times tonight cure me still 'cuz I'm far from over I'm an apathetic animal, look at me closer days and nights and altered sights damaged wings, yet still still no flight still no levitation towards the light vital signs again and again clarify for me, my friend just why am I here? and have you ever cared? unless you can cure me, I want this needle out unless you can cure me, I will shout unless you can cure me, I breathe doubt cure me still kill me once kill me twice I feel like I've been killed nine times tonight cure me still 'cuz I'm far from over I'm an apathetic animal, look at me closer
4.
break like the wind will break you say what you need to say tell me that it's over scream like I am screaming at you today tonight I'm gonna drive forever tonight I'm gonna fly away 'cuz I just need to stare out into oblivion and forget this day I forgot how to love the chase so now I'm running away "don't leave", she screams in silence "this has ended", she yells with ease oh, the intangible melody of yesterday so strung out on tomorrow tell me everything's alright tell me that the grass in greener without your silent fight
5.
you've got to put that down the distance between you and I grows deeper with the sound of an ambulance speeding its way to your door to pick you off of the ground just like the coldest days of a Baltimore Summer gone too fast but I don't think you even know you could be you can break or melt away just like ice you can stay the same just give me one more chance to make you feel the way you do when it courses through your veins 'cuz I'd like you back but this time the 'you' that I love who doesn't know of the pain the pain of loss, of failure, the helpless bliss, and love, without all the little things like this

Without these friends, enemies, and losses, I would never be able to see the brightest of the bright, and I would have never been able to be a part of the creation of this music.
